Ristorante Rosa Rossa

We had the one of our best restaurant experiences ever. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We ordered a very delightful bottle of recommended red wine which we thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered the chef’s tasting menu. There were a couple that weren’t our favourite but there was a great variety of choices to make our dining experience most enjoyable. They even gave us a recommendation for another restaurant for the next night. We have already made another reservation that we are looking forward to.

Fantastic spot. Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. We especially liked the stomach expanding broth that we didn’t order and the lime and wasabi infused butter for the bread. Highly recommend.

Excellent restaurant in Venice with a fab menu, especially choice of fish. Good size portions are very tasty too. We had cuttlefish & Venetian oysters for starters & Joh Dory & monkfish with mixed veg. Tiramasu to share. If you are in Venice, visit it. You will not be disappointed. Limoncello to finish.

10/10 for every dish. The homemade butter was to die for! We ordered the Oysters, Parmigiana, lasagna, ravioli with sweet bread, linguine vongole and tiramisu. They brought out limoncello as we were paying, what a treat!

My family enjoyed a wonderful and leisurely lunch at Ristorante Rosa Rossa! They offered gluten free crackers and a delicious gluten free spaghetti. The rest of the family was thoroughly impressed with both the traditional spaghetti and surprised that the gluten free pasta was as good as the traditional pasta. Service was friendly and easy to request both gluten and dairy free food options!

Stand out restaurant in Venice!! Superb service and style!! Attentive switched on young team with excellent customer service skills. Food was a delight we went for ‘il bigolo in salsa "sbagliato", mezze maniche con stracotto di agnello d'Alpago e bagoss followed by ‘fritto misto dell Adriatico’ and gran grigliata di scampi e gamberi’ everything presented beautifully. We visited Rosa Rossa in July 2024 and we were completely blown away by the food, staff and ambience of the place. Fast forward to July 2025 on a return trip to Venice, we knew we had to go back! In fact, we frequented the place...four times in a week to be exact! We chatted with the kind and talented chef and his family again. Even ran into family on the streets of Venice and grabbed a photo with them. Such great food and great people! If you're in Venice you HAVE to go check this place out!!
